Description
With the meaning “Greatly Blessed by Heaven,” Gyeongbokgung Palace is situated north of Gwanghwamun Square as one of the most famous tourist attractions of all Korea. After the capital of Joseon was moved from Kaesong (North Korea) to Hanyang (Seoul), it has served as the heart of the capital of Korea since. The premises were destroyed several times during the Japanese Invasions but have been restored. Visitors have the opportunity to watch the changing of guards ceremony at the main entrance of Gwanghwamun.

Description
This is perhaps one of the most unusual tourist destinations in the world. The DMZ was created by the Korean Armistice Agreement which was signed on July 27, 1953. The Armistice created a 155-mile long military demarcation line (MDL) with a 2-kilometer wide demilitarized zone on each side (for a total width of 4 kilometers). It has been a half-century since Korea was divided and exchanges between the North and the South stopped at the DMZ.

With Bugak Palgakjeong in the middle of Bugak Mountain, Bugak Skyway’s beautiful scenic route offers a panoramic view of Namsan, N Seoul Tower, Han river, 63 Building and skyscrapers of Seoul. Description
Suwon Hwaseong Fortress was built during the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910) as the official fortress of Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do. It spans over 5.74 kilometers with a height of 4 to 6 meters. Joseon's 22nd king, Jeongjo, built it in 1796 as an act of filial piety to his father, Crown Prince Jangheon (also known as Sadoseja), in an effort of making Suwon the second capital city. Constructed under the guidance of Yu Hyeong-Won (1622-1673) and Jeong Yak-Yong (1762-1836), this fortress is known to have been highly scientifically constructed.

Description
Bukchon, also known as "the street museum in the urban core," is a Hanok Village dating back to the 14th century. It consists of hundreds of traditional homes called Hanok, many of which today are cultural centers, traditional museums, restaurants and tea houses, although it is still a residential area. Visitors can get a pure glimpse of the Joseon Dynasty while walking through the alleys. The hilltop offers beautiful scenery of the village and surrounding areas such as the Blue House. They also get the chance to learn about the history of Bukchon’s historic sites and cultural heritages dating back from the Joseon Dynasty to modern times.

This best folk village in the nation is also an exciting and fun cultural theme park. Located in Yongin, Gyeonggi province, it’s a popular destination for both tourists and locals. Visitors learn about the lives of the different social classes as you walk through the replicas of peasants, noble men and scholars’ homes. It feels like a trip in a time machine back to the 1800’s. There are also dynamic and interesting performances and festivals throughout the year, such as Nongak (farmer’s music), martial arts on horseback and traditional wedding ceremonies.
